However it does suffer from narrative flaws and directorial debut issues
It does have a great throwback to the 1950s noir genre. Mainly in style and story. However that being said it is slightly overlong and by the end feels like the story could be cut. However pacing was fine.
Edward Norton stole the show here. He is terrific and plays a man with tourettes extremely well. Everyone else is great here as well, Baldwin, Dafoe and Willis and Mbatha-Raw give such great performances. It's great to see Bruce Willis in a role he actually cares about cause we all know how his career has been recently even if his performance is short in screen time. It's a great throwback to what made noir and crime films so great and even at.144 minutes. The pacing isn't really an issue at all. br> Overall it's a great film even if slightly stretched. It does suffer from amateurish redirecting. But I would love to see something from Norton again in the future.
